Happiness is a very relative term which we all know and yet we wonder why certain people are happier than us. Is it money? Fame? Personality? Talent? Or their outlook towards life? Although man has been searching for the key to happiness for centuries, no one’s come to any conclusion. But interestingly, social scientists have been working on it having come up with few habits that are scientifically proven to make us happier.
Keeping busy setting goals for yourself and for your near and dear ones, and then committing to them does improve happiness. For instance, a hard-working successful man and a father of two would feel happy, content and fulfilled setting up the lives of his children.

Not only taking a break for vacations from work, even planning vacations gives lot of happiness. Vacations are a great way to kick back, relax forgetting all the pressures and tensions of life.
3. Try one new hobby every three months
Hobbies can give you a great high and lift your spirits. It gives you a chance to commit to goals and also offer the opportunity to make new friends and socialize which is an important determinant of happiness.
4. Plan out your social activities few days in advance
Nurturing relationships and spending time with some of your positive friends, cultivating optimism or helping a friend in need have all been linked to improving happiness.
