-Take bath in cold water twice a day to cool down the burnt skin.

-Apply mashed potatoes on the scratches and the areas that have skin irritation.

-An oatmeal bath is helpful for itchy sunburnt skin.

-Aloe Vera has anti-inflammatory properties. So, refrigerate the Aloe Vera extract and apply it on the the skin .

-A cool milk compress is a quick and easy way to get rid of sunburn.

– Take some cucumbers and mash them in a blender. Apply this mixture on the affected areas for quick recovery .

-Black tea, too, has antioxidant properties. Apply a few drops of black tea on the skin to get rid of that sun burn.

-Mint is a natural cooler. Drink one glass of mint juice.

-Dip a cotton ball in vinegar and apply it on the sunburnt areas.

-As prevention is better than cure, do not forget to apply sunscreen before you step out in the sun.
