Every season there are many new looks created by experts for the fashion weeks. Lakme’s beauty statement for 2015 was the ‘sculpt look’, for 2016 there is a beautiful transition from strong strobing to soft and feminine highlighting.
This year, it is all about the ‘Illuminate Look.’ Lakme makeup expert Daniel Bauer created stellar ‘Illuminate looks’ on Sarah Jane Dias, former Miss India and Bollywood actor. The look involves blending radiant skin, with warm shimmery makeup tones – in blue, brown, gold, silver and copper. These are the perfect shades for all Indian complexions.
From a gold shimmer look on the beautiful dusky bombshell Lisa Haydon for her walk at Monisha Jaising’s show at Lakme Fashion Week to the stunningly beautiful Ileana D’Cruz where she had blue and brown/gold shimmer eye shadow look at Rahul Mishra’s show – the Illuminate look works for all skin tones and ruled the runway this season both globally and at Lakme Fashion Week.2016.
For Sarah Jane Dias, who has an enviable beautiful light to dusky skin tone, the illuminate and shine look is simply a perfect fit for her.
Daniel first prepped her skin using the Lakme Absolute Perfect Radiance Serum. The Serum helps to keep skin moisturised and achieve luminous skin.
Then apply the new Lakme Absolute Precision Eyeliner in black to the upper waterline.
Blend two shades, brown and gold from the Lakme Absolute Illuminate Eye shadow Palette on the eyelids. Daniel’s expert tip – To pop the eye colour, wet the eye brush and gently apply the gold shimmer from the Illuminate Palette from the inner eye slightly outward on the lower and upper waterlines. Wetting the shades when you apply really helps the shades to shine and illuminate your skin.
Apply a generous helping of mascara on the upper and lower lashes.
To finish the look, use Lakme Absolute Illuminating Lip Shimmer in Rose Gold Dust.
