First and foremost the mantra is to keep the skin care routine simple!

Buy products which are a must for your skin and make sure you use them. Hydrating face wash, sunscreen moisturizer and a replenishing night cream are all musts. Use skin-type specific products and remember always be gentle to your skin.

Eat right. Say a BIG NO to that pack of chips; instead go in for foods which are rich in antioxidants, omega3 fatty acids and vitamins. Some of the best foods for a glowing skin are – berries, avocados, almonds and salmon.

Exfoliate your skin. Once a week is ideal to keep the dead cells away and give your skin a smooth and supple feel.

Don’t ignore your skin problems. If you have blemishes or acne meet your dermatologist and seek treatment and guidance about your skin care regimen. It is better to start the treatment early rather than to wait.
